Intelion is a Law Enforcement media analytics platform that reduces investigation time and staffing requirements with automated and AI-based processing that provides the investigators with the results they need, when they are needed.
The intelligent filtering system uses a progressive analytics chain that dynamically decides what analyzers to use, based on the contents of the current video image, so no time is wasted on analyzers that do not contribute anything. This saves not only time, but also money and computer resources.
For example, a security camera is recording 24/7, but only during 6 hours motion are detected. This starts the actual recording, that is analyzed for the objects it contains. Only if a car or person is found, the system starts the ALPR/VMMR or the facial analyzers if required. This may be only 1 hour of video, out of the original 24. Finally the most compute intensive analyzers, like the facial recognition, only have to work for 10 minutes a day in this case.
This allows to use the same analyzer for several cameras, which drives the overall system cost considerable down.

How Intelion works
Intelion accepts live feeds from cameras, captures TV & Radio broadcasts, as well as video files and can connect to a VMS. All sources are stored internally, in an unified, secure and encrypted way. The analyzer bus is extensible and processes the data according to the investigators’ guidelines. Intelion reports the results automatically via SMS, WhatsApp or other messaging systems.
