Applying a series of analyzers to a digital picture, audio file or even a video, requires some serious processing power and, therefore, processing time. If the amount of videos to analyze is considerable, using every analyzer on every frame will mount quickly into considerable waiting times until you get the results back. But you cannot always limit the amount of analyzers to apply, when you are not sure what you are looking for. However, Intelion’s High Efficieny Analysis is here to save the day.

Because all the available analyzers are connected to the analyzer bus and that is controlled by the intelligent BPM module, the analyzer chain is completely variable on the fly and only depends on what is found in the current video frame. If there are no license plates, the ALPR isn’t even called, thus conserving resources and reducing waiting time. The intelligent branching system only call further analyzers if they are warranted, and only then.

This amounts to considerable savings both in processing power and time. The latter is especially important in time-sensitive investigations, where having the information 10 minutes sooner may make a difference between being able to close a case satisfactorily, or not.
